Don't miss our Fire Island Lighthouse Historical Cruise Tour. This event will be a 4 hour roundtrip tour (6:30 - 10:30pm) on Tuesday, June 24th (rain date, Wed 25th). Click on this imagefor RSVP/Brochure Click on the map below for a larger view The tour will leave from [A] the parking lot (free parking for us - in the Freight Yard adjacent to the boat terminal) of the Sayville Ferry Service (41 River Rd in Sayville / 631-589-0810). map & directions Our destination will be the historic Fire Island Lighthouse [D]. Along the way [B to C], we will be regaled with interesting tales of the other local historic sites along our route (see accompanying map for reference). The cost of this pleasant, seafaring adventure is a mere $25.00 per person. In order to keep the cost down, no food or beverages will be served. However, we encourage everyone to bring their own “picnic basket” so that dining can take place during the initial course of the tour. There will be plenty of room for all on the top deck of our vessel. When we arrive at the lighthouse, we will disembark and be given the grand tour as well as appropriate commentary of this historic landmark. During our tour, the facilities will be closed to all other visitors.
