I'm sure you'll hear many and varied stories of what went on from those who where there.. We could not have asked for a more perfect night... This tale is about numbers.. We had 57 people attend this event ( a far cry from last year's staggering total of 90+).. Captain Mike Eagan gave us a last minute additional discount, saving us $165.00 (Thank you Mike...!!!)...

We also ran basket raffles and a 50/50.. The baskets were as usual donated and prepared by our own Marie O'Dell...

Our New York District Governor Dave Booker was pleasantly surprised when we sang him "happy birthday" and showed up with a birthday cake for him, candles and all...

A special "thank you" to the 3 other Clubs in our Division that supported us with representatives, Huntington, Lindenhurst and North Amityville.. This event was a fundraiser for us (which we then combined/transformed into a "Governor's Visit" to help out Lt Governor Kurt Dietrich).. This helps to support our OutWard Bound scholarship program which sends a deserving student away to a 2 week "challenging growth camping experience"...
